Sample. Funding rounds with a disclosed amount from 1 Jan 2024 to 10 Oct 2026, summed per company; the latest valuation any source states. The source linked is the one for the latest valuation, or else the latest round.

Disclosed funding counts primary rounds only: strategic stakes bought from shareholders, tender offers and acquisitions are listed in the first figure, not added here.

A sum of disclosed rounds understates what a company has raised when some rounds were never priced in public.

Method and definitions

Company announcements, regulatory filings and reporting by major news outlets, each linked beside its figure. Every row links the publication it is taken from, with the figure as that publication states it; nothing is estimated or converted. Each figure states what it includes beneath it.

Company covered
A company that hires people to train or operate robots: a humanoid or robot-learning lab, a robot-data company or program (teleoperation, demonstrations, egocentric capture, annotation), or an autonomous vehicle, trucking, drone, vessel or defense-autonomy company whose operator roles this site lists.
Funding round
A primary sale of equity or convertible notes, as announced. Strategic stakes bought from shareholders, tender offers and acquisitions are listed separately and not added to funding.
Valuation
The valuation the source states for the round: post-money unless it says otherwise.
Stated or reported
Stated: the company, a filing or an investor gives the figure. Reported: an outlet reports it from unnamed sources. The data download says which for every row.
Date
The day the round, stake or deal was announced or closed; the article's date when the source gives no other.

What this data cannot tell you

  • Compiled from public sources: an event that was never announced or reported is missing, and private companies' figures are what they or the press stated, not audited.
  • A sum of disclosed rounds understates what a company has raised when some rounds were never priced in public.
  • Valuations from unnamed sources and rounds in talks may differ from the terms finally agreed.
  • Most of these companies spend their money on engineering, hardware and compute as well as on the people who train and operate robots: funding sizes the industry, not its human-data budget.

How the job feeds are read and roles are classified: site methodology. How fresh, complete and consistent the data is, checked every day: data quality and coverage.

Editions

The live report is the dataset as last reviewed; new events are added as they are published. Each complete month is also published as an edition, frozen two days after the month ends, so a figure you cite from an edition never moves.
