Enact Intelligence is a robotics company in Zurich, Switzerland, that builds its own actuators, force and touch sensing and the models that use them, to make robots dexterous enough for thousands of industrial tasks. Its robot operators physically guide and teleoperate its robots through motion-capture systems, performing high volumes of task demonstrations (sorting objects, operating tools, opening doors, manual assembly, handling cables) that become the training data for its neural networks. They also watch the quality of the data stream, tag trajectories and flag unusual robot behaviour to the AI team, set up the work areas, change end effectors and do routine maintenance on the robots.
