Sample. 745 roles open at the end of 9 Oct 2026 and 0 at the start of 12 Sep 2026, across the 60 employers whose public job boards RobotTraining.jobs reads daily.

A role counts as open on a day if it was listed by then and was still in its employer's feed that day.

Change compares the same employers at both ends. Stack AV, Allen Control Systems, Waymo, Serve Robotics, May Mobility, Bot Auto, Nuro, Generalist AI, Gatik, Torc Robotics, Physical Intelligence, Dyna Robotics, RobCo, Neros, Dexterity, TSMG, Motional, Apptronik, Agility Robotics, Wing, Vay, Pronto, Reliable Robotics, Monumental, FS Studio, Cota Robotics, Claru, RoboForce, Perle, Avride, ISEE, Skild AI, Figure AI, Saronic, Havoc AI, Humanoid, 1X Technologies, Mind Robotics, micro1, Sama, Appen, The Global Talent Co., Sereact, Noble Machines, Shield AI, Genesis AI, Tutor Intelligence, Skydio, Zipline, Welo Data, Maven Robotics, Keywords Studios, Sunday Robotics, Rhoda AI, Kodiak AI, Waabi, Wayve, Adexis, Dexmate, Collaborative Robotics, Dexory, Nimble Robotics, Anduril Industries, Skyways, Aurora Innovation and Pyka were first tracked during the window and are counted in the end total (745 roles) but not in the change.

Change is marked as a small sample where fewer than 30 roles were open at the start.

Figure 2

New and removed listings by kind of work

Where is new hiring happening, and where are roles being taken down?

Sample. 103 roles newly listed and 109 removed, from 12 Sep 2026 to 9 Oct 2026, across the 60 employers whose public job boards RobotTraining.jobs reads daily.

New listing: a role first seen in the window on an employer already tracked before that week. An employer's first week in this dataset is its back catalogue, not new hiring, and is left out.

Removed: a role that left its employer's feed during the window. Employers do not say whether a removed role was filled, paused or closed.

Net change can differ from the change in open roles: a role newly listed and removed inside the window counts in both columns.

New listings exclude an employer's first week in this dataset (its back catalogue).

Employers that recruit without a public job board are not counted here; their pay and requirements are on their employer pages.

An employer that lists one opening per city or country counts each one: the figure counts listings, not people hired.

Method and definitions

The public job boards of the robot training employers and programs this site tracks, read every day. Every figure is computed by one database query over the window shown, the same query for the live report and for every edition. Each figure states its sample beneath it.

Coverage
The employers and programs whose public job boards RobotTraining.jobs reads in full every day. Each figure states how many were read.
Open role
A role listed by a given day and still in its employer's feed that day.
New listing
A role that first appeared during the window at an employer already tracked before that week. An employer's first week in this dataset is its back catalogue and is not counted as new.
Removed listing
A role that left its employer's feed during the window.
Days listed
From a removed role's listing date to the last day it was seen in its feed.
Kind of work
Each role is classified from its title and description into one of the seven kinds of robot training work this site tracks, from robot teleoperation and demonstration collection to egocentric capture, embodied-AI annotation, robot evaluation, fleet operations and AV and drone operation. Every kind links to its own page.
Listing date
The date the employer's job board gives for the posting, or else the first day the role appeared in the feed. A role that arrived with an employer's back catalogue and gives no date has no known listing date.
Location rule
Read from each posting's location text: open worldwide, worldwide except listed countries, only listed countries, or no rule stated.
Window
Live: the last 28 complete days, in UTC. Edition: one calendar month, in UTC.

What this data cannot tell you

  • Employers that recruit without a public job board are not counted, and some data-collection programs enrol people through an app rather than a job listing.
  • A listing is not a hire. Some employers keep evergreen roles open for months, and some post one listing per city or country.
  • A removed listing may have been filled, paused or closed: employers do not say which.
  • Duplicate postings of the same role are merged when the feeds are read.

How the job feeds are read and roles are classified: site methodology. How fresh, complete and consistent the data is, checked every day: data quality and coverage.

Editions

The live report covers the last 28 complete days and changes every day. Each complete month is also published as an edition, frozen two days after the month ends, so a figure you cite from an edition never moves.

  • Live dataLast 28 complete days, recomputed daily
