Field & fleet operations · Robotaxi operations partner

Transdev

Transdev is a public transport operator whose Alternative Services division (TAS) runs the human side of robotaxi programs for autonomous vehicle companies; its autonomous careers page names Waymo among the companies its staff work alongside. Level 2 operators and autonomous vehicle operators drive and evaluate self-driving cars in both autonomous and manual modes, report software issues, give ride-hail trips to the public and handle roadside recovery. Vehicle test assistants play pedestrians, cyclists and other road users in test scenarios, and command center specialists dispatch staff and watch the health of the client's fleet. All of it is hourly, on-site work in US cities.
