Alphabet's Other Bets segment, which includes Waymo and Wing, brought in $1.5B in FY2025 (down 6.7% on the year before), 0.38% of the parent's revenue.
- 8
Aurora Innovation expects 2026 revenue of $14 - $16 million (stated 29 Jul 2026).
- 9
Serve Robotics expects 2026 revenue of $9 million to $10 million (stated 6 Aug 2026), revised from approximately $26 million stated on 11 Mar 2026.
- 10
In its most recent filing on file, Kodiak AI attributes 56% of its Q2 2026 revenue to Atlas Energy Solutions.
- 11
Waymo's own ride figures went from "more than 100,000 paid robotaxi rides every week" (20 Aug 2024) to "surpassed 500,000 fully autonomous rides per week" (29 Apr 2026).
- 12
Figures on the people who run these fleets are scarce: Figure AI, "over 44,000 weekly active users contributing data" (25 Aug 2026), Waymo, "approximately 70 Remote Assistance agents on duty worldwide" (17 Feb 2026) and Wing, "a single pilot to oversee up to 50 drones in the air at any given time" (17 Jul 2024).
Figure 1
Revenue of the listed robot and autonomous-vehicle operators, by year
How much revenue do the stock-market-listed companies that run delivery robots and driverless trucks book, and how fast is it changing?
Base: Total company revenue in US dollars per fiscal year, from annual reports and earnings releases filed with the SEC up to 28 Oct 2026. The figure as first published is used; a restatement appears only when no original is on file.
All three close their fiscal year on 31 December. A company that booked no revenue in a year shows $0 only where its filing says so.
Aurora began booking revenue in Q2 2025, after its driverless launch in April 2025, and reports quarters rounded to the nearest $1 million.
Most of Kodiak's 2024 revenue (89%) came from a U.S. Army ground-autonomy contract, not trucking; that contract brought in 26% in 2025.
Most of Serve's revenue in Q1 and Q2 2024 was software-service income from Magna, not robot deliveries ($0.85 million of $0.95 million, then $0.30 million of $0.47 million).

Figure 2
Serve Robotics: revenue by quarter
Which way has Serve Robotics's revenue gone, quarter by quarter?
Base: Each quarter's revenue from Serve Robotics's earnings releases and SEC filings, up to 28 Oct 2026.
Most of Serve's revenue in Q1 and Q2 2024 was software-service income from Magna, not robot deliveries ($0.85 million of $0.95 million, then $0.30 million of $0.47 million).
Serve's 2026 quarters include Diligent Robotics, the hospital-robot company it acquired in early 2026.

Figure 5
Segments that hold robot and autonomy businesses inside listed parents
How large is the reported segment that contains Waymo and Wing, and is it growing?
| Parent | Segment | Year | Revenue | Change on prior year | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| AlphabetAlphabet (SEC filing, Form 10-K) | Other Bets | FY2023 | 0.50% | n/a | |
| AlphabetAlphabet (SEC filing, Form 10-K) | Other Bets | FY2024 | 0.47% | +7.9% | |
| AlphabetAlphabet (SEC filing, Form 10-K) | Other Bets | FY2025 | 0.38% | -6.7% |
Base: Segment revenue under the name the parent uses in its annual report, by full fiscal year, up to 28 Oct 2026. The share divides it by the parent's total revenue for the same year, from the same report.
A segment holds more than the robot business: the parent does not break out Waymo or Wing on their own.
Alphabet's 2023 and 2024 annual reports say Other Bets revenue came primarily from healthcare-related services and internet services; its 2025 report says primarily from autonomous transportation and internet services. Waymo is not reported on its own.

Reliance on a single customer
What share of each listed operator's revenue comes from one customer?
Base: Revenue shares that SEC filings assign to a named customer, up to 28 Oct 2026.
A customer appears only when a filing names it as a material share of revenue.

This year's revenue outlook from the listed operators
What revenue does each listed operator expect for this year?
Base: The most recent 2026 guidance from each listed operator, up to 28 Oct 2026.
Guidance is a forecast that companies revise, so each row carries the date it was given.

Figure 8
Fleets, rides, deliveries and operators, as the companies state them
How large do these companies say their fleets, rides and deliveries are, and how many people supervise them?
Base: 53 figures the companies published about themselves, or that tier-one outlets reported, up to 28 Oct 2026.
These are the companies' own figures and are seldom audited: a fleet count is not a count of the people who supervise it, and a delivery total is not a measure of revenue.
An intention to buy, not trucks in service today: the memorandum is non-binding.
A cumulative figure from an undated page; the earlier Avride row (316,000) counts calendar 2025 only.
Figure's Index app pays people to record data; weekly active users are app users, not employees.
An agreement for trucks to be deployed, not trucks in service today: the release gives no delivery date and no price.
The slide reads 1.8M+ (the filing's text layer renders the plus sign as an icon glyph). Serve's 7 May 2026 earnings release said the combined fleet was nearing 2 million cumulative deliveries; this October deck gives 1.8 million, and Serve does not explain the difference.
The slides give 2,000+ Serve sidewalk robots and 100+ Moxi hospital robots; the Moxi robots come from Diligent Robotics, which Serve acquired in early 2026.
A cumulative distance, not the weekly figure of the other Waymo mile row.
A cumulative count from an undated page, not the weekly figure of the other Waymo ride rows.
Waymo does not publish fleet counts; the 778 robotaxis come from a public-records request reported by TechCrunch and cover California only.
About 70 remote assistance agents are on duty at any one time, about half of them in the Philippines (Waymo to Senator Markey): a shift count, not total headcount.
Riders in three newer cities only, not Waymo's total.
One pilot overseeing up to 50 drones is a ratio Wing was approved for in Australia, not a headcount.
Zipline's About page is undated; the same figure (more than 3 million deliveries) was reported on 16 October 2026, its tenth anniversary in Rwanda.

How it was measured
Annual reports, quarterly reports and earnings releases filed with the SEC, plus the companies' own statements for fleet and operator figures. Every figure has its link next to it. Each row carries a link to its publication and gives the number exactly as published, with no estimates or conversions. A note under every figure says what it covers.
- Revenue
- The amount a listed company books for the period in its SEC filings or earnings release, in US dollars, as first published.
- Segment
- A reporting segment of a listed parent that holds a robot or autonomy business along with others. Alphabet's Other Bets includes Waymo and Wing; Alphabet does not report either on its own.
- Customer share
- The share of a company's revenue its filing attributes to one named customer.
- Guidance
- The revenue a company says it expects for the current year, with the date it said so. A revised outlook replaces the earlier one in the table and is noted in the findings.
- Scale claim
- What a company says about its fleet, rides, deliveries or the people who operate and supervise them, as it says it.
Limits of this data
- Built only from public sources. Anything never announced or reported is absent, and private-company figures are whatever the company or the press said, unaudited.
- Most companies that hire robot trainers and operators are private and publish no revenue; this report covers the ones that file with the SEC.
- Revenue is the operator's whole business, which includes software, licences and contracts as well as robot or vehicle operation; the figure notes say where one customer or contract dominates.
- Fleet, ride and operator numbers come from the companies themselves and are seldom defined clearly or audited.
Collection and classification of listings are explained on the methodology page. Freshness, completeness and consistency are tested daily in the data quality report.
Monthly editions
The live page shows the dataset as of its latest review, and new events join it once they are made public. Every finished month also gets its own edition, locked two days after month end, so a number quoted from it stays fixed.
