What the data shows

  1. 1

On 31 Oct 2026, Dyna Robotics had 9 open roles: 0.8% of the 1,150 open at the 100 employers RobotTraining.jobs tracks, the joint 14th highest count.

    Figure 1
  2. 2

Taking each week's closing count, Dyna Robotics moved from 8 open roles on 4 Oct 2026 to 9 by 31 Oct 2026.

    Figure 2
  3. 3

77.8% of its open roles are in Robot Fleet Operations, a kind in which Dyna Robotics accounts for 3.0% of every open role (the joint 7th largest share among 30 employers); across the board it posts in 3 of the 7 kinds of work that had openings.

    Figure 3
  4. 4

As of 31 Oct 2026, all 9 of its open roles put an hourly rate in the listing. Across their 9 distinct rates, the median is $25/hr and typical pay $25 to $30/hr, compared with $25/hr for the rates other employers post.

    Figure 4
  5. 5

Robot Fleet Operations is the only kind of work with enough posted rates at both Dyna Robotics and other employers to set side by side: $25/hr against $25/hr (+5.3%).

    Figure 4
  6. 6

None of its 9 open roles are open to people applying from anywhere (0.3% at other employers); all are restricted to certain countries, the United States chief among them (named by all 9).

    Figure 6
  7. 7

Between 1 Oct 2026 and 31 Oct 2026, Dyna Robotics put up 1 new listing and took down 0; its open count moved from 8 to 9 (+12.5%).

Base: Snapshot at the close of 31 Oct 2026: 9 open roles at Dyna Robotics and 1,141 across the 99 other employers RobotTraining.jobs tracks, with listings drawn from 1 Oct 2026 to 31 Oct 2026.

"Other employers" pools every remaining employer tracked over the same dates: their counts are added together and their medians come from all of their distinct rates at once.

Pay follows the job board's own method: each distinct advertised rate counts once (the midpoint of a range; a role reposted at the same rate is not counted again), and a ceiling alone ("up to $X/hr") is tallied but kept out of the figures, since it is not a rate. Typical pay is the 25th percentile of what roles pay (the middle of each advertised range) to the 90th-percentile advertised ceiling; both it and the median are rounded to the nearest $5 ($1 below $20), just as every job list shows them.

Ranks run across the 100 employers that had open roles. An employer is ranked on a measure only once it clears that measure's floor. For a share, the floor is fitted on every employer's own count, so its open roles must outweigh the average they are set against (0.4 open roles for posting a rate, 2.8 open roles for accepting any country); a pay median needs 3 distinct posted rates and days listed needs 3 removed roles with a known listing date. On days listed, the longest comes first.

Every role is sorted into one of the site's seven kinds of robot training work, based on what its title and description say.

Ranks within a kind count only the employers with open roles in that kind. No median is given below 3 distinct advertised rates, the same floor the job board uses.

All rows carry a small-sample mark and none is ranked: they vary no more than chance would make them vary, so no single row stands on its own.

No median is given below 3 distinct advertised rates, the same floor the job board uses. A comparison within a kind of work needs 3 distinct rates on both sides. The same-kinds row averages the gap over every kind where both sides clear that bar, weighting each kind by the employer's distinct rates in it. That way an employer that simply lists higher-paid work does not look like it pays more for identical work.

Typical pay is the 25th percentile of what roles pay (the middle of each advertised range) to the 90th-percentile advertised ceiling; both it and the median are rounded to the nearest $5 ($1 below $20), just as every job list shows them. A week's figures cover only the roles still up when it closed.

No weekly median is given below 3 distinct advertised rates.

A shift from week to week may come from new or removed listings at different rates just as much as from a rate edited on an existing role. It tracks what the employer posted, not what any worker earned.

Buy the data behind this report

This report sums up records we gather ourselves, day after day:

  • 1,432 robot training roles followed, history included

Every role on 100 employer job boards, read each day since 12 Sep 2026: its pay, its place, and the first and last day it was up.

  • 536 apply clicks over 28 days

Which robot training roles people really apply to, by kind of work, pay and place. The clicks happen here, so no one else can count them.

  • 25 sourced industry datasets

Funding, revenue, deals, fleets, deployments and prices across the robot training industry, each record linked to the publication it comes from.

On offer

  • The raw records

Every robot training role we track: title, employer, place, kind of work, pay as stated, and the days it was first and last open.

  • A regular feed

New and closed roles every week or month, as file drops or through the data endpoints.

  • A custom cut

Robot hiring brief: free, once a month

The robot-training job market in figures, on the first weekday of each month: open roles, what opened and closed, who added and who cut, and posted pay by kind of work. To your work email.

How it was measured

Every day this site reads the public job boards of the robot training employers and programs it follows. Every Dyna Robotics figure is drawn solely from its own public listings, with full descriptions and application forms read wherever its job board provides them. A single database query produces each figure for the window shown, and the live page and every monthly edition run that identical query. The note under each figure gives its base.

Other employers
All employers and programs this site reads except Dyna Robotics, pooled over the same window: counts are added up and medians are computed across all their advertised rates at once. That way Dyna Robotics is set against the rest of the market rather than a market it is part of.
Rank
Where it sits among employers with open roles on the window's final day, highest first (longest first for days listed). A share is ranked only when the employer's open roles are enough to stand on their own among employers (a weight fitted on every employer's own counts pulls small ones toward the average share); a pay median needs 3 distinct advertised rates and days listed 3 removed roles. An employer short of one of these gets no rank on that measure.
Open role
On a given day, a role that has been posted and still shows in the employer's feed. In the weekly series, open roles are counted at each week's close (Sunday, UTC).
Back catalogue
Whatever an employer already had posted in its first tracked week. The weekly series flags that week, does not count its roles as new listings and omits every earlier week.
New listing
A role seen for the first time during the window, at an employer this site was already following the week before.
Removed listing
A role that dropped out of its employer's feed within the window. If most removals or additions land on a single day, the figure points that out, since one big change to a board can swing the window's totals.
Days listed
For a role that came down: the span from its listing date to the final day its feed showed it. A median needs 3 or more such roles with a known listing date.
Advertised pay
Worked out exactly as the job board works out pay for any list of roles, so a median here matches the one on Dyna Robotics's pay page for the same roles. Each distinct advertised rate counts once (the midpoint of a range; a role put up again at the same rate is not counted twice), and an "up to $X/hr" figure is a ceiling rather than a rate, so it is tallied but kept out. Typical pay covers the range from the 25th percentile of what roles pay (the middle of each advertised range) to the 90th-percentile advertised ceiling. Both it and the median are rounded to $5 ($1 below $20) and need 3 or more distinct rates.
Like-for-like pay comparison
In each kind of work where the employer and the other employers each state 3 or more distinct hourly rates, divide its median by theirs and subtract one. Average across those kinds, weighting by the employer's distinct rates, so an employer that simply posts higher-paid kinds of work does not look like it pays more for the same job. Two qualifying kinds are required.
Location rule
Taken from the location text of each listing or, when that text names no country, from what the listing's own description says: worldwide, worldwide with named exceptions, named countries only, or no rule given.
Kind of work
A role's title and description place it in one of the seven kinds of robot training work this site follows, ranging from robot teleoperation and demonstration collection through egocentric capture, embodied-AI annotation, robot evaluation and fleet operations to AV and drone operation. Each kind has a page of its own.
Title word, robot or vehicle, capture
Matched in titles as whole words using the word lists of the job titles report and the robots and equipment report. One title may match several.
Required
A degree, a licence, a minimum age, years of experience or a background check the description requires, read with the requirements report's reader (a preference does not count).
Application form
Everything a candidate fills in on the employer's own application page, collected from its applicant-tracking system. Required means the form cannot be sent until that field is filled in.
Window
Live page: the 28 most recent full days (UTC), and for the weekly series the twelve most recent full ISO weeks, none earlier than the week of 14 Sep 2026. Edition: a single calendar month (UTC), with its weeks trimmed at the month boundaries.

Limits of this data

  • Hiring done without a public job board is not captured, and an employer can staff projects it never posts. Its listings show what it advertises, not all of its hiring.
  • A posting does not equal a hire. Certain employers leave evergreen roles up for months, and others post the same role once per city or country.
  • Listings only: how many people apply to an employer is never published here.
  • These are advertised rates. Overtime, shift premiums and bonuses can change what a worker actually takes home.
  • Only some job boards publish full descriptions and application forms, so those figures exist only for employers on such boards and reflect the roles open on the day of the read.
  • When a listing disappears, the role may have been filled, put on hold or cancelled; employers do not say which.

Collection and classification of listings are explained on the methodology page. Freshness, completeness and consistency are tested daily in the data quality report.

Monthly editions

The live page spans the 28 most recent full days and updates daily. Every finished month also gets its own edition, locked two days after month end, so a number quoted from it stays fixed.
