Base: Snapshot at the close of 17 Oct 2026: 5 open roles at Genesis AI and 1,024 across the 72 other employers RobotTraining.jobs tracks, with listings drawn from 20 Sep 2026 to 17 Oct 2026.
"Other employers" pools every remaining employer tracked over the same dates: their counts are added together and their medians come from all of their roles at once.
Ranks run across the 73 employers that had open roles. An employer is ranked on a measure only once it clears that measure's floor: 10 open roles for a share, 8 posted rates for a pay median and 10 removed roles with a known listing date for days listed. On days listed, the longest comes first.
Built from listings alone, as they appear on the employer's public job board.

Weekly count of open roles at Genesis AI
Are Genesis AI's robot training listings growing or shrinking from week to week?
| Week | Open at week's end | New listings |
|---|---|---|
| 14 to 20 Sep | 3 | 0 |
| 21 to 27 Sep | 4 | 1 |
| 28 Sep to 4 Oct | 5 | 1 |
| 5 to 11 Oct | 5 | 0 |

What Genesis AI hires for
What kinds of robot training work does Genesis AI post, and how big a slice of each kind's openings belongs to it?
| Kind of work | Open roles | Share of its roles | Its slice of all openings in the kind |
|---|---|---|---|
| Data & Demonstration CollectionSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 2.2% |
| Robot TeleoperationSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 2.1% |
| Embodied-AI Data AnnotationSmall sample | 1 | 20.0% | 9.1% |
Base: Genesis AI's 5 open roles at the close of 17 Oct 2026. Market shares divide by the 1,029 roles open that day across all 73 employers.
Every role is sorted into one of the site's seven kinds of robot training work, based on what its title and description say.
Ranks within a kind count only the employers with open roles in that kind. No median is shown below 8 roles with a posted hourly rate.

Figure 4
What Genesis AI advertises it pays
Does Genesis AI put a rate on its listings, and does it pay more or less than other employers for the same kind of work?
| Roles | Stating an hourly rate | Its median per hour | Other employers' median | Its median against theirs |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| All its open rolesSmall sample | 0.0% | n/a | $27 | n/a |
| Data & Demonstration CollectionSmall sample | 0.0% | n/a | $28 | n/a |
| Robot TeleoperationSmall sample | 0.0% | n/a | $28 | n/a |
| Embodied-AI Data AnnotationSmall sample | 0.0% | n/a | n/a | n/a |
Base: On 17 Oct 2026, 0 of Genesis AI's 5 open roles carried an hourly rate, against 217 of 1,024 at other employers.
Pay means the hourly rate written into the posting; where it gives a range, the midpoint is used. The middle half spans the 25th to 75th percentile.
Medians appear only from 8 posted rates up, and a comparison needs that many on both sides. The same-kinds row averages the gap over every kind where both sides clear that bar, weighting each kind by how many priced roles the employer has in it. That way an employer that simply lists higher-paid work does not look like it pays more for identical work.

Figure 5
Where applicants for Genesis AI roles can be based
Can people apply to Genesis AI from any country, or only from certain ones?
| Location rule | Its open roles | Share of its roles | Share on other employers |
|---|---|---|---|
| Open worldwide | 0 | 0.0% | 0.3% |
| Worldwide except listed countries | 0 | 0.0% | 0.0% |
| Only listed countries | 5 | 100.0% | 99.7% |
| No rule stated | 0 | 0.0% | 0.0% |
Base: Genesis AI's 5 open roles on 17 Oct 2026, set beside the 1,024 open at other employers.
Each rule comes from the location written in the posting; if the posting says nothing, the employer's own statement about where it hires fills the gap. The rule only covers where applications are accepted. Tax, payment and work-permit rules may still apply.

Figure 6
Where Genesis AI's country-limited roles are open
Which countries appear when Genesis AI restricts a role to certain places?
| Country | Limited roles naming it | Share of its country-limited jobs |
|---|---|---|
| FranceSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% |
| United StatesSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% |
| United KingdomSmall sample | 1 | 20.0% |
Base: On 17 Oct 2026, 5 of Genesis AI's 5 open roles took applications only from named countries, and 5 of those named just one. 3 countries in total.
A role that lists several countries is counted under each one. "Open only there" counts roles whose list holds this country and no other.

Figure 7
New and taken-down listings at Genesis AI
How many roles did Genesis AI put up, and how many came down?
| Measure | Roles |
|---|---|
| Open as 20 Sep 2026 began | 3 |
| New listings | 2 |
| Removed listings | 0 |
| Open as 17 Oct 2026 closed | 5 |
Base: Genesis AI's listings, 20 Sep 2026 to 17 Oct 2026.
A new listing is a role that first appeared during the window, not counting the employer's opening week in this dataset. A removed listing dropped out of the feed during the window. One role can be both.
The opening count for other employers skips any employer whose tracking began inside the window.

Figure 8
What Genesis AI calls the work
Does Genesis AI title its roles operator, teleoperator, driver, technician or data collector, and how often each?
| Title word | Its open roles | Share of its roles | Share on other employers |
|---|---|---|---|
| SpecialistSmall sample | 3 | 60.0% | 11.5% |
| Data collector or contributorSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 26.4% |
| OperatorSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 34.0% |
| Teleoperator or robot pilotSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 4.9% |
| Annotator or labelerSmall sample | 1 | 20.0% | 0.7% |
| None of these words | 0 | 0.0% | 6.9% |
Base: Genesis AI's 5 open roles on 17 Oct 2026, sorted by the words in each title, using the word list from the job titles report.
One title can contain more than one of these words ('Robot Teleoperator (AI & Robotics)') and counts under each, so the shares can total over 100%. Matching is on whole words and ignores case.

| Mentions night, weekend or rotating shiftsSmall sample | 0 | 0.0% | 44.3% |
| Mentions contractor or freelance termsSmall sample | 2 | 40.0% | 3.1% |
Base: Full descriptions for 5 of Genesis AI's 5 open roles on 17 Oct 2026, set against 1,024 roles from the 72 other employers and programs whose boards publish descriptions.
Read with the requirements report's readers: degrees, licences, age, lifting, years and background checks count only as requirements (a preference does not count); hours, drug tests, shifts and terms count wherever the description mentions them.
Years and hours get a median only when 5 or more roles state them. For an hours range, the lower number is used.

Base: Application forms for 5 of Genesis AI's 5 open roles on 17 Oct 2026, pulled from its applicant-tracking system (Ashby). The median form has 7 fields and 2 custom questions; across 726 forms at other employers the median is 15 fields.
"Required" means the form cannot be sent without it. Every form asks for name and email, so those are left off. Where an employer's process has stages (a short form, then an assessment), only the first form is read.

How it was measured
Every day this site reads the public job boards of the robot training employers and programs it follows. Every Genesis AI figure is drawn solely from its own public listings, with full descriptions and application forms read wherever its job board provides them. A single database query produces each figure for the window shown, and the live page and every monthly edition run that identical query. The note under each figure gives its base.
- Other employers
- All employers and programs this site reads except Genesis AI, pooled over the same window: counts are added up and medians are computed across all their roles at once. That way Genesis AI is set against the rest of the market rather than a market it is part of.
- Rank
- Where it sits among employers with open roles on the window's final day, highest first (longest first for days listed). Thresholds apply: 10 open roles for shares, 8 roles with a stated rate for a pay median and 10 removed roles for days listed. An employer under a threshold gets no rank on that measure.
- Open role
- On a given day, a role that has been posted and still shows in the employer's feed. In the weekly series, open roles are counted at each week's close (Sunday, UTC).
- Back catalogue
- Whatever an employer already had posted in its first tracked week. The weekly series flags that week, does not count its roles as new listings and omits every earlier week.
- New listing
- A role seen for the first time during the window, at an employer this site was already following the week before.
- Removed listing
- A role that dropped out of its employer's feed within the window. If most removals or additions land on a single day, the figure points that out, since one big change to a board can swing the window's totals.
- Days listed
- For a role that came down: the span from its listing date to the final day its feed showed it. A median needs 10 or more such roles with a known listing date.
- Advertised pay
- The hourly rate a listing gives, using the midpoint when it gives a range. A median appears only when 8 or more roles state a rate, and the middle half spans the 25th to the 75th percentile.
- Like-for-like pay comparison
- In each kind of work where the employer and the other employers each state 8 or more hourly rates, divide its median by theirs and subtract one. Average across those kinds, weighting by the employer's priced roles, so an employer that simply posts higher-paid kinds of work does not look like it pays more for the same job. Two qualifying kinds are required.
- Location rule
- Taken from the location text of each listing: worldwide, worldwide with named exceptions, named countries only, or no rule given.
- Kind of work
- A role's title and description place it in one of the seven kinds of robot training work this site follows, ranging from robot teleoperation and demonstration collection through egocentric capture, embodied-AI annotation, robot evaluation and fleet operations to AV and drone operation. Each kind has a page of its own.
- Title word, robot or vehicle, capture
- Matched in titles as whole words using the word lists of the job titles report and the robots and equipment report. One title may match several.
- Required
- A degree, a licence, a minimum age, years of experience or a background check the description requires, read with the requirements report's reader (a preference does not count).
- Application form
- Everything a candidate fills in on the employer's own application page, collected from its applicant-tracking system. Required means the form cannot be sent until that field is filled in.
- Window
- Live page: the 28 most recent full days (UTC), and for the weekly series the twelve most recent full ISO weeks, none earlier than the week of 14 Sep 2026. Edition: a single calendar month (UTC), with its weeks trimmed at the month boundaries.
Limits of this data
- Hiring done without a public job board is not captured, and an employer can staff projects it never posts. Its listings show what it advertises, not all of its hiring.
- A posting does not equal a hire. Certain employers leave evergreen roles up for months, and others post the same role once per city or country.
- Listings only: how many people apply to an employer is never published here.
- These are advertised rates. Overtime, shift premiums and bonuses can change what a worker actually takes home.
- Only some job boards publish full descriptions and application forms, so those figures exist only for employers on such boards and reflect the roles open on the day of the read.
- When a listing disappears, the role may have been filled, put on hold or cancelled; employers do not say which.
Collection and classification of listings are explained on the methodology page. Freshness, completeness and consistency are tested daily in the data quality report.
Monthly editions
The live page spans the 28 most recent full days and updates daily. Every finished month also gets its own edition, locked two days after month end, so a number quoted from it stays fixed.
- Live page28 most recent full days, rebuilt daily
