What the data shows

  1. 1

On 17 Oct 2026, Transdev had 22 open roles: 2.1% of the 1,029 open at the 73 employers RobotTraining.jobs tracks, the 5th highest count.

    Figure 1
  2. 2

95.5% of its open roles are in AV & Drone Operators, a kind in which Transdev accounts for 4.4% of every open role (the 3rd largest share among 29 employers); across the board it posts in 2 of the 7 kinds of work that had openings.

    Figure 2
  3. 3

13.6% of its open roles give an hourly rate, short of the 8 needed for a median.

  4. 4

None of its 22 open roles are open to people applying from anywhere (0.3% at other employers); all are restricted to certain countries, the United States chief among them (named by all 22).

"Other employers" pools every remaining employer tracked over the same dates: their counts are added together and their medians come from all of their roles at once.

Ranks run across the 73 employers that had open roles. An employer is ranked on a measure only once it clears that measure's floor: 10 open roles for a share, 8 posted rates for a pay median and 10 removed roles with a known listing date for days listed. On days listed, the longest comes first.

Base: On 17 Oct 2026, 3 of Transdev's 22 open roles carried an hourly rate, against 214 of 1,007 at other employers.

Pay means the hourly rate written into the posting; where it gives a range, the midpoint is used. The middle half spans the 25th to 75th percentile.

Medians appear only from 8 posted rates up, and a comparison needs that many on both sides. The same-kinds row averages the gap over every kind where both sides clear that bar, weighting each kind by how many priced roles the employer has in it. That way an employer that simply lists higher-paid work does not look like it pays more for identical work.

Base: Transdev's listings, 20 Sep 2026 to 17 Oct 2026 (tracking began mid-window).

A new listing is a role that first appeared during the window, not counting the employer's opening week in this dataset. A removed listing dropped out of the feed during the window. One role can be both.

Tracking of Transdev started on 14 Oct 2026, so roles that showed up that week are treated as its back catalogue rather than new listings; there is also no opening count for it.

The opening count for other employers skips any employer whose tracking began inside the window.

Read with the requirements report's readers: degrees, licences, age, lifting, years and background checks count only as requirements (a preference does not count); hours, drug tests, shifts and terms count wherever the description mentions them.

Years and hours get a median only when 5 or more roles state them. For an hours range, the lower number is used.

How it was measured

Every day this site reads the public job boards of the robot training employers and programs it follows. Every Transdev figure is drawn solely from its own public listings, with full descriptions and application forms read wherever its job board provides them. A single database query produces each figure for the window shown, and the live page and every monthly edition run that identical query. The note under each figure gives its base.

Other employers
All employers and programs this site reads except Transdev, pooled over the same window: counts are added up and medians are computed across all their roles at once. That way Transdev is set against the rest of the market rather than a market it is part of.
Rank
Where it sits among employers with open roles on the window's final day, highest first (longest first for days listed). Thresholds apply: 10 open roles for shares, 8 roles with a stated rate for a pay median and 10 removed roles for days listed. An employer under a threshold gets no rank on that measure.
Open role
On a given day, a role that has been posted and still shows in the employer's feed. In the weekly series, open roles are counted at each week's close (Sunday, UTC).
Back catalogue
Whatever an employer already had posted in its first tracked week. The weekly series flags that week, does not count its roles as new listings and omits every earlier week.
New listing
A role seen for the first time during the window, at an employer this site was already following the week before.
Removed listing
A role that dropped out of its employer's feed within the window. If most removals or additions land on a single day, the figure points that out, since one big change to a board can swing the window's totals.
Days listed
For a role that came down: the span from its listing date to the final day its feed showed it. A median needs 10 or more such roles with a known listing date.
Advertised pay
The hourly rate a listing gives, using the midpoint when it gives a range. A median appears only when 8 or more roles state a rate, and the middle half spans the 25th to the 75th percentile.
Like-for-like pay comparison
In each kind of work where the employer and the other employers each state 8 or more hourly rates, divide its median by theirs and subtract one. Average across those kinds, weighting by the employer's priced roles, so an employer that simply posts higher-paid kinds of work does not look like it pays more for the same job. Two qualifying kinds are required.
Location rule
Taken from the location text of each listing: worldwide, worldwide with named exceptions, named countries only, or no rule given.
Kind of work
A role's title and description place it in one of the seven kinds of robot training work this site follows, ranging from robot teleoperation and demonstration collection through egocentric capture, embodied-AI annotation, robot evaluation and fleet operations to AV and drone operation. Each kind has a page of its own.
Title word, robot or vehicle, capture
Matched in titles as whole words using the word lists of the job titles report and the robots and equipment report. One title may match several.
Required
A degree, a licence, a minimum age, years of experience or a background check the description requires, read with the requirements report's reader (a preference does not count).
Application form
Everything a candidate fills in on the employer's own application page, collected from its applicant-tracking system. Required means the form cannot be sent until that field is filled in.
Window
Live page: the 28 most recent full days (UTC), and for the weekly series the twelve most recent full ISO weeks, none earlier than the week of 14 Sep 2026. Edition: a single calendar month (UTC), with its weeks trimmed at the month boundaries.

Limits of this data

  • Hiring done without a public job board is not captured, and an employer can staff projects it never posts. Its listings show what it advertises, not all of its hiring.
  • A posting does not equal a hire. Certain employers leave evergreen roles up for months, and others post the same role once per city or country.
  • Listings only: how many people apply to an employer is never published here.
  • These are advertised rates. Overtime, shift premiums and bonuses can change what a worker actually takes home.
  • Only some job boards publish full descriptions and application forms, so those figures exist only for employers on such boards and reflect the roles open on the day of the read.
  • When a listing disappears, the role may have been filled, put on hold or cancelled; employers do not say which.

Collection and classification of listings are explained on the methodology page. Freshness, completeness and consistency are tested daily in the data quality report.

Monthly editions

The live page spans the 28 most recent full days and updates daily. Every finished month also gets its own edition, locked two days after month end, so a number quoted from it stays fixed.

  • Live page28 most recent full days, rebuilt daily
