Robot Training Jobs This Week: Fleet Openings Fall, GenRobot Raises $100M, Aurora Speeds Up Truck Builds
The robot training job board reached 1,136 open roles as 21 more employers' boards joined it, fleet operations openings fell, and a Beijing robot data company raised $100 million.

The job board ended the week of 28 October to 3 November with 1,136 open roles, up from 1,126 at its start, because we started reading 21 more employers, led by HireArt with 26 roles. Among the 86 employers we read all week, openings fell 5.9% to 1,066: 41 new listings against 108 removed.
Most of the drop was fleet work: Avride went from 45 open roles to 12, and Amazon Prime Air from 70 to 55 in the week it began drone deliveries in Idaho. Outside the board, a Beijing robot data company raised $100 million, Agility Robotics' merger to list on Nasdaq was approved, and Aurora said how fast it will build driverless trucks.

What moved on the board
Robot fleet operations fell the most, from 257 to 207 roles as 62 listings came down and 12 went up, while its median posted pay held at $27/hr. Autonomous vehicle and drone operator roles eased from 520 to 511, with 26 listings removed and 17 new, at a median of $30.32/hr. Tesla posted the most new roles, 22, and reached 172.
Egocentric and wearable capture slipped from 139 to 132: RemoExperts took down all 6 of its head-camera postings and micro1 went from 8 to 5, and the median posted capture pay fell from $15 to $13 an hour. Demonstration collection held at 123 roles with a median of $30.50/hr, teleoperation stood at 71, and robot evaluation rose from 8 to 10, among them a remote Sovrano AI robotics expert role at $40 to $125 an hour.
New boards read for the first time this week: HireArt, which recruits robot operators, safety drivers and vehicle operators for robotics and self-driving clients (26 roles), Robot.com (Kiwibot) (7), Latitude AI (6), Arctic Engines (4), Coco Robotics (4), and Starship, Matternet, Instawork, PlusAI and others. Week-on-week figures leave them out until they have a full week on record, so a new board never reads as a hiring jump.
Who is paying for robot data
GenRobot AI, a Beijing company that builds the equipment and software for turning recordings of people's work into robot training data, disclosed a $100 million Series A+ round from investors including SAIC Motor, Baidu and Galaxy General Robotics. WeRide's data and world-model unit Jingshuo agreed to raise 70 million yuan (about $9.9 million). In the United Arab Emirates, CNTXT AI said it will open 30,000 square feet of robotics-data facilities in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, where workers wear motion-sensor suits or light head-mounted cameras to record home and workplace tasks, the first of them from November.
Shareholders of Churchill Capital Corp XI approved its merger with Agility Robotics, the maker of the Digit humanoid, which is expected to raise about $465 million and list Agility on Nasdaq. Robot makers and model labs like these are the buyers of the demonstrations, teleoperation hours and annotated video this board lists. The full record is in our funding dataset.
Where operator jobs open next
Waymo chose Toyota's 2027 bZ4X as its robotaxi for right-hand-drive markets: Toyota will build it with Waymo's system at its Takaoka plant, testing starts in Japan, where Waymo intends to run a service, and the United Kingdom is the next market named. In London, Freenow by Lyft is testing about 24 Baidu Apollo Go robotaxis in the borough of Brent, as the mayor asks for powers to license robotaxi services and cap their number.
Aurora said it has more than 20 driverless trucks built and expects to build 20 a week from early December, toward an annual capacity of more than 1,000, though supplier problems pushed its goal of 200 trucks on the road to February. Amazon Prime Air began drone deliveries in Nampa, Idaho, on 30 October, to homes within 7.5 miles, its first site in the state. More on where these fleets operate is in our robotaxi, trucking and drone reports.

Countries opened or closed

How the numbers in this post are made
- A week here means the seven complete UTC days before the post went out. A job counts as open whenever the employer's careers page lists it; a new job is one dated in the week; a removed job is one the page stopped listing.
- Each "rose" or "fell" compares only employers we were already reading before the week began, and dates every job by the posting day the employer gives (otherwise the day we first saw it). Employers read for the first time are left out. When our feed suddenly picked up jobs an employer had posted earlier (undated sightings that a model fitted on dated jobs judges more likely old than new), or an employer's removals broke sharply with the rest of its week, that reflects a change in what we can read rather than in hiring, so those jobs are counted on neither side.
- Pay means the posted hourly rate (the midpoint when a range is posted), and a median appears only where at least 3 jobs post one. A country opened when it had no open job as the week began and has some at its end; it closed in the opposite case.
- Each employer news item names, links and dates the outlet or company that reported it. A post's text never changes after the day it is published; any correction is added underneath, with its own date.
