For robotics companies

Test drivers and safety operators for your self-driving fleet, found city by city.

We find autonomous vehicle test drivers, safety operators and vehicle operators in the cities you test in, check each against your brief (driving record, licence class, shifts) and introduce the ones who said yes. You hire them yourself and pay only for the hours they go on to work.

How sourcing works

The work

Drive and monitor self-driving test vehicles on public roads and closed courses, take over when needed, log events, and support the fleet in the depot.

What we check

A clean driving record and the licence class the vehicle needs (a CDL for trucks), years behind the wheel, the city, the shifts and nights, and what your own background checks ask.

Where they come from

People looking for test-driving work apply through us from the cities where robotaxi and trucking fleets test; for each brief we also reach drivers who are not job hunting, one at a time.

Every open role of this kind, read from the employers' own job boards every day: Autonomous vehicle operator jobs.

How it works

From your brief to the people you accept

  1. Describe the people you need

The work (teleoperation, data collection, annotation, safety driving, drone flights), the city or country, shifts, equipment or licences, how many people and by when. A short chat or an email does it.

  2. We measure the pool first

Before anyone is contacted: how many people with that profile live near your site or can work online, what similar robot roles pay elsewhere, and what tends to trip this profile up at screening.

  3. We find and check them

First the people already applying for robot work through us, then people who are not job hunting, contacted one at a time. Each profile is checked against your brief, and each person is asked about your role.

  4. You pick from a shortlist

Only people who match the brief and agreed, each with the reason they match. Your own screening has the final word, and you pay only for the hours the people you hire go on to work.

Pricing

20% of their first 320 paid hours

20% of what each person you hire earns in their first 320 paid hours (about two months full time) or first six months, whichever ends first, billed monthly against your own record of their hours. Someone who never starts costs nothing, someone who leaves after a week costs a week, and nothing is owed after those hours. The brief, the sizing and the shortlist are free, and there are no listing or posting fees.

Questions

What employers ask us

Tell us who you need

A short chat: the role, the city or country, the shifts and how many people. We come back with how many fit and which of them want it.

We run the project

We staff, run, check and deliver the robot data you need (filmed tasks, teleoperation sessions, labeled robot video), with people from our own network.

Priced per project.
