Is Kled legit?

Mostly. Kled is a funded US data company that does pay, by PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet, but contributors commonly report pennies, about $1 per 100 accepted photos, and you can cash out only from $25 after an ID check. The main risk is hours of uploading for very little: Kled sets what each batch is worth with no fixed rate, reviewers say 'high pay' tasks paid under 2 cents each, and you give it perpetual, exclusive AI-training rights to your uploads.

Who is behind it

Kled is run by Nitrility, Inc., whose terms (July 21, 2026) give a Sheridan, Wyoming address for notices; Solana Compass names Avi Patel (founder) and Aryan Bansal (CTO), based in San Francisco. Kled says it has raised $10M, signed a $12M two-year data deal in June 2026, and has 500,000+ contributors across the US, Southeast Asia and Europe.

Getting paid

Kled values uploads by uniqueness, quality and buyer demand, not by count, and credits them in batches within up to 7 business days. You cash out from $25 by PayPal, Venmo or a Solana wallet after a one-time ID and selfie check. Since V3 (September 30, 2026) each task shows its pay before you start.

Who can join

What people praise

  • A contributor in the Philippines posted in August 2026 that a $25.10 cash-out reached their PayPal three days after the request, and a second $25.10 payment from Kled arrived six days later.
  • US App Store reviewers in September 2026 say the payout came, one adding it is rare for an app found online to follow through, and Kled's team replies to complaints, pointing people to support@kled.ai.
  • Its help center states the rules up front: the $25 minimum, the one-time ID check, the three payout methods, and a tax form only once you earn $600 in a year.

What people complain about

  • US App Store reviewers report about $1 for each batch of 100 accepted photos: one got $1 for 1,500 photos (August 2026). Kled replied that pay depends on the content's value, not the count.
  • In October 2026 UK App Store reviewers said tasks labelled 'high pay' paid about $0.017 each; one earned $45 in 20 hours and was still waiting on the cash-out 8 days later.
  • On Reddit's r/kledaiusers a contributor wrote in May 2026 that more than 20,000 photos and two dash cam recordings had earned them $4.54 in total.
  • Its terms give Kled a perpetual, irrevocable licence to your uploads, exclusive for AI training, and let it close your account with or without notice, for any or no reason.

What has gone wrong

  • May 2026. In May 2026 Kled pulled its app from Nigeria's App Store and blocked the country, with founder Avi Patel citing a 95% fraud rate among Nigerian uploads and a flood of fake ID documents. Technext noted he gave no methodology or audit for the figure.
  • June 2026. On June 26, 2026 Kled announced a $12M two-year, non-exclusive data deal that it said made it profitable, and two days later opened Android pre-registration. On October 28 its Google Play listing was not found, so the app is still iPhone only.
  • September 2026. Kled V3, released on iOS on September 30, 2026, turned the home screen from photo uploads into a feed of paid tasks (first-person video of everyday activities, speech, image checks) with pay shown first, plus a fraud model it says removes 98.4% of bad actors within 10 uploads.
Who it suits

Best for: iPhone owners in the US, Southeast Asia or Europe who already take lots of original photos and short videos and are content with a few dollars a month. Not for: Anyone on Android, anyone hoping for an hourly wage, and anyone unwilling to share an ID and selfie or give lasting AI-training rights to their photos.

Honest catches

  • Pay here is outside reports, not measured live from a job feed, so treat it as a benchmark rather than a guaranteed rate.
