Autonomous Vehicle Operator

HireArt is helping our client find Autonomous Vehicle Operators to support the testing and development of autonomous vehicle technology. In this role, you'll safely operate company test vehicles in both manual and autonomous driving modes on public roads and closed courses. You'll work closely with the Vehicle Operations team to support data collection, vehicle readiness, and daily testing activities.

The ideal candidate is safety-focused, has strong driving skills, and is comfortable operating development vehicles while following established procedures and documenting testing activities. Potential travel to Palo Alto, CA, may be required for training purposes. As an Autonomous Vehicle Operator, you will: Prepare development vehicles for testing, including proper setup, inspections, and shutdown procedures.

Safely operate development vehicles in manual and autonomous driving modes on public roads and closed courses. Perform basic troubleshooting to address vehicle or operational issues as needed. Support occasional testing activities at closed-course test tracks. Complete administrative tasks, including submitting debrief reports and tracking daily productivity. Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
