About the role

What if the way you make a cup of coffee, fold laundry, or open a door could help shape the future of robotics? We're looking for Robotics Technicians to capture video recordings of everyday tasks - creating the real-world training data that teaches AI-powered robots how to navigate and interact with their environment.

This is a fully remote, flexible contract role open to anyone with a smartphone or camera and a willingness to follow clear recording guidelines. No robotics background, technical knowledge, or prior AI experience required - just everyday actions performed in your own space.

What You'll Do

Record video of yourself performing everyday household or workplace tasks - from picking up objects to navigating familiar spaces

Follow specific recording guidelines covering camera angles, task sequences, and environmental setups

Capture natural interactions with common objects, surfaces, and environments

Upload completed recordings and fill out simple metadata forms to accompany your submissions

Maintain consistent recording quality and attention to detail across sessions

Work independently and at your own pace on task-based assignments

Who You Are

Access to a smartphone or camera capable of recording clear video

Comfortable recording tasks in your home or personal workspace

Able to read, understand, and follow detailed recording instructions

Reliable internet connection for uploading video files

Self-motivated and consistent when working independently

No robotics, AI, or technical background required

Nice to Have

Experience following structured protocols or detailed instructions in a previous role

Familiarity with basic video recording or file management

A varied home or workspace environment with a range of everyday objects and surfaces

About Alignerr
